Athena Kugblenu Inspires Pupils with History’s Most Epic Fails
We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor into school this week – author and comedian Athena Kugblenu – who spoke to our Key Stage 2 pupils about her brand-new book History’s Most Epic Fails.
This exciting new release takes a witty and engaging look at some of history’s greatest mistakes and blunders, from disastrous inventions to the slip-ups of famous leaders. Through these stories, Athena shows us that even in failure there are important lessons to be learned.
Her talk was both entertaining and thought-provoking, sparking plenty of curiosity (and lots of laughter!) among the children. Many pupils were especially excited to purchase signed copies of her book afterwards, which will no doubt be enjoyed at home and in class.
A huge thank you to Athena for joining us – we can’t wait to dive into the book and see what lessons history’s “epic fails” can teach us!
